Dalton is a Co-Founder and CTO, he runs engineering and product at the studio. Born in Australia, he grew up travelling the world from Dubai to America and Mexico, and has called Tauranga home for the last 25+ years.
He's typically the person in the room when you scope the project and the same person who builds it. Software platforms, mobile apps, physical machines - he's got all the bases covered. He's responsible for every Studio Phoenix project to date. He's built across the crypto ecosystem too, where security and reliability aren't optional.
In another life Dalton was an architectural modeller and did geospatial work, where he delivered projects for Platinum Homes and the Australian Government, and has previously completed design and product work for Pic's Peanut Butter, Chia Sisters and Whittaker's. It means the studio's products are built and styled by the same hands.
Outside the studio, Dalton's in the workshop on robotics, automation projects, custom 3D printing or crafting an electrical engineering project. When he's not, you'll find him out surfing, at the gym or doing double back flips on the tramp. That last one sounds made up, but we promise it's not.
